BETHESDA, Md., September 20, 2007 - JI Worldwide, Inc., a guerrilla marketing company that relies on innovation to reach target audiences, announced today the launch of its High Definition napkin-based advertising program that connects companies directly with consumers in a casual and memorable manner to drive both brand awareness and results.
“Many companies have looked to alternative advertising mediums as both the media and consumer behavior have become more fragmented and specialized,” said Jay Jaber, the founder of JI Worldwide, Inc and, at 28 years old, a Finalist in the 2007 Wall Street Journal’s “Creative Leaders Challenge.” However, he said, B2C companies often look in vain for viral ways to reach potential customers and continue to rely on traditional advertising mediums.
JI Worldwide developed its HD napkin-based advertising program to effectively give B2C companies a cost-effective way to reach large numbers of people, while still targeting consumers by key demographic measures.
“We wanted to give companies an advertising tool that has clear value and raises their profile in major urban markets,” Jaber said. “The program gets companies right in front of customers at a fraction of what it would cost with more traditional mediums, which often never reach the customer.”
JI Worldwide has established an industry targeted distribution network that’s comprised of 300 retailers in various major Designated Market Areas (DMAs): Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, D.C. The company will distribute napkins to restaurants, sports venues, cinemas, amusement parks, colleges, nightclubs, bars and airlines -- including its distribution relationships with US Airways.
“Basically, when people go out and use napkins, they’re having a good time,” Jaber said. “We help companies be a part of those experiences that in a way that -- when compared to other mediums -- isn’t fleeting.”
The company plans to place 10 million high definition napkin advertisements in the coming months operating under the brand names NapAds™ and HDN - High Definition Napkin™, Jaber said.
Jaber added that the company produces & distributes the High Definition Napkins for companies. JI Worldwide prints ads on three-ply facial tissue with photo-realistic, liquid safe water-based ink and gives companies the ability place a different design on each of the napkin’s four square panels. The HD napkins are 5” x 5” commercial cocktail napkins with a 10” x 10” printable area and printed with state-of-the-art machinery in the USA.
